Our Story

Since 2011, we have been selling our particularly nerdy brand of goods across the United States. Originally specializing in hand-cut vinyl silhouettes of Sasquatch, we quickly branched off and started selling art, writing novels and making decor like key hooks, switchplate covers and enamel pins.

Once we started dabbling in soapboiling, we knew we had something really special. Combining our love of unusual, custom fragrances and all things geeky, we spent years refining our goat’s milk soap base recipe and assorted fragrances before debuting the first batch of handmade soaps at a tiny convention in Maine.

They got an excellent response and Deeply Dapper was soon appearing at conventions across the US, averaging 20-30 shows a year. We have since branched into candles, beard care and the occasional wax melter and have sold tens of thousands of soaps to costumed attendees, fellow creators and celebs at shows. (Wil Wheaton, of Star Trek and Tabletop fame is a regular customer of our Beard Oil.)

Every soap is still handmade by us in our curious laboratory in the mountains of Idaho, where we live with two big dogs and two small cats. When we aren’t on the road to another show in our trusty (and crusty) Cthulhu-Haul, we are hard at work creating new scents and curing batches of soap so you too, can experience…
